GEST

GEST is a Berlin-based drum and bass duo and event promoter. Harry Hackett and Dave Stone perform as GEST; previously, they were known as Gerra & Stone. Their releases appeared on Shogun Audio’s SGN:LTD label before they signed to Shogun Audio. The duo’s sound has also taken on a stronger techno influence.

Their events include the recurring GEST Invites night, which has run in Berlin since at least 2021. The series has brought drum and bass and jungle to venues including Void Club, Void Hall, Re:mise, RSO.BERLIN and Suicide Club. At Void Club, the format paired drum and bass in one room with techno in another; GEST also held an outdoor event at Re:mise in August 2023. Bookings have included QZB, Jubei, Visages and Submarine. A December 2024 GEST Invites party marked the series’ third anniversary.
