Hidden Ideas

Hidden Ideas began in 2022 as a Chicago party series and event promoter, staging parties at private, undisclosed locations. The queer-led company is based in Chicago, United States, and works across contemporary art and media as a label and production house. It also runs a mixed-media gallery, creating spaces for queer audiences to engage with experimental music and art. Its events span footwork, techno, jungle, hardcore and UK garage, with booking priority given to queer, trans and BIPOC producers.

GRRL and JIALING are among the artists hosted by Hidden Ideas. The New York duo Somewhere Special appeared at an event with ecstasyresearch and uRaNg3L. Hidden Ideas has worked with Viper Room Live and Rinse FM on livestreams. The company also has locations in Minneapolis, Detroit, New York City and Miami.
