INCOGNITO

Los Angeles-based INCOGNITO has promoted underground rave music in California and internationally since 2007. Alan Agbayani and Gerard Florendo founded the promoter after finding they shared musical interests; Florendo DJs under the name Gerard Not Gerald. The group’s first four parties took place at Boardner’s, with trance in one room and house in the other. Regular events at Hollywood’s King King began in 2008. Later, INCOGNITO moved from clubs to warehouses, allowing headlining DJs longer sets.

Its events cover underground electronic styles, including house, techno, drum and bass, and jungle. Los Angeles presentations have included Zenker Brothers and Dillinja, while bookings have featured Lee Burridge and Kenny Larkin. INCOGNITO has also staged events at Kingdom Nightclub in Austin, with Photek among the artists appearing at its events.
