Jaeger Oslo is a club and event promoter based at Jaeger in Oslo, Norway. It was founded by Ola Smith-Simonsen, also known as Olanskii, Scott Jacobsen and Kaman Leung, and opened in the former Garage Oslo venue. Its two floors have Funktion-One sound systems, with a basement cabin, a courtyard sauna booth and a rotating DJ booth. Its selections draw on disco, house and techno, and extend across styles from Afro-beat through techno.
Weekly resident DJs and recurring nights shape the programme. Mandagsklubben, the Monday night, has run since the club opened, with André Bravo as resident. Tuesday concept M.A.D. began in January 2024, growing out of the monthly Wednesday night Frensday; its residents are Mona Blanchard, Axel FU and Dara Woo. Friday’s Frædag pairs resident DJs with international bookings. Jaeger’s line-ups have included Dillinja, Grooverider and Zero T.
Bigup brings drum and bass and jungle to Jaeger. The night began in the venue’s backyard around the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, initially as a monthly Wednesday event. Formed after Maxi Taxi closed, its members had previously held residencies at Villa’s Room 101 with DJ Subway. Bigup comprises Drunkfunk, Fjell, Tech and Simon Peter, and has held at least one Wednesday event each month at Jaeger since 2021. Outside the club, Ola Smith-Simonsen and G-Ha are associated with Sunkissed, a monthly night at Blå that is Oslo’s longest-running club night.
