JUNA

JUNA began operating in Anjuna, Goa, in January 2024 as a listening venue with a distinct indoor club space. Hideaway Café & Bar and Arcade cofounded it; Arcade is a creative agency connected with Magnetic Fields Festival founders Munbir Chawla and Kunal Lodhia, as well as collaborator Dame Rynjah.

The venue occupies a refurbished Portuguese-era bungalow, with an outdoor courtyard and a treated indoor Sound Room used for listening sessions and late-night parties. The room accommodates 100 people. Paddy fields, banyan trees and palms border the courtyard, which has a verandah roofed in terracotta, a teak bar and a quieter tree-shaded section. A high-fidelity system anchors the courtyard, with its outdoor setup made by Reign Acoustics; the Sound Room has a separate custom system and rotary mixer. A restaurant and cocktail bar serve small dishes, bar snacks and signature cocktails. The outdoor Curators series brings DJs to play selections extending beyond their regular club sets. JUNA has hosted Chloé Robinson, Kareem Ali, Ayesha and Zokhuma, while event line-ups have included Rafiki (IN).
