JUngle Dub House Recordings NYC

JUngle Dub House Recordings NYC is a New York City events and music project led by DJ Paul C, its promoter and label head. Before the project, DJ Paul C helped establish Jungle Nation and held a residency there; the weekly Saturday drum-and-bass night began in 1995. In 1996, he was a resident at Konkrete Jungle NYC and worked at Breakbeat Science, the first drum and bass record store in the United States.

The series dates to 2013 and presents jungle and drum and bass, spanning classic selections, rare tracks, dubplates, newer releases, liquid, rollers, neurofunk and ragga. Sunday sessions at Keybar in Brooklyn have featured DJs, MCs, producers, VJs and live singers; event line-ups have included DJ SOUL SLINGER, Patrick Scowley and Wavewhore. Releases include DJ Paul C’s “Bad Boy Selecta” (JDH001), Systemattix’s “Proactive” and DJ Paul C’s “NY Jungle” (JDH002 EP), and “King’s Dream” featuring Nayobe (JDH003). A 2025 Brooklyn event marked one year at the venue and 13 years of the series.
