Jungle Splash

Based in London, Jungle Splash began in 1994, when Paul Ibiza started the series to bring jungle events to the city’s Black community, which he felt some rave nights excluded. Its debut, called Vietnam, took place at The Rocket in May of that year. The promoter later held events at Roller Express, Bagleys and The Mass. Roller Express bookings included jungle DJs Randall, Brockie and Ray Keith, accompanied by live MCs.

Its music has spanned old-school and newer jungle, jungle dub, drum and bass, reggae, and garage/UK bass. Jungle Splash has staged multi-room events at Brixton Jamm, including London dates from 2024; artists there have included Potential Badboy, the Ragga Twins and Uncle Dugs. By 2016, its events included boat parties, terrace gatherings and all-day parties.
