JungleCakes

JungleCakes is an event promoter based in London, with parties held at Brixton Jamm and XOYO. Its associated Jungle Cakes label, founded by Deekline in 2009, works across jungle and drum-and-bass, with Deekline and Ed Solo at its helm. Events at Brixton Jamm have featured both label-associated DJs, alongside resident Jessi G. Other performers at Jungle Cakes events have included General Levy and Micky Finn. The label’s releases include the Trojan remix project, featuring Kleu’s drum-and-bass version of “Rudy, A Message To You.”

In July 2019, Jungle Cakes marked its tenth anniversary with a four-Friday residency at XOYO. A later XOYO residency included a basement takeover shared with Dub Shotta, while the Hot Cakes room presented breaks and 2-step.
