jungyals and gays is a London-based event collective that promotes multi-genre parties across South London. Chloe Parkinson and Daya Istiawan founded it, and it began as a university project in April 2023. Its music spans jungle, drum and bass, UK garage and techno, among other styles. Line-ups have featured Krash Dubs, Mina, Rodney and Sleazebag.
The collective has held events at Dalston Den, M.O.T and Loki, all in London. Its February 2024 launch took place at M.O.T. The launch featured jungle, breaks, footwork and hardcore. Events have included the named party “Ghouls. Girls. Garage.” The collective’s bookings focus on female and queer talent. Its events also aim to provide an inclusive setting, with a safe rave space for women and queer people and an emphasis on education. In 2025, its Babesline event at M.O.T centered on bassline and featured an all-femme and queer lineup.
