Kassa

Kassa is a Budapest club and event promoter based aboard a former seagoing cargo ship anchored near Batthyány Square. New management took over in 2021, and the venue reopened under the Kassa name in 2024 after renovations and acoustic improvements. Its event spaces include indoor rooms and an open-air roof terrace; the main room uses a Lambda Labs sound system.

Kassa has hosted events on Kassa Boat and Europa Boat in Budapest. Its programme spans techno, house, drum and bass, trance and psytrance, with line-ups featuring Lenzman, Monrroe, Bryan Gee and DJ Marky. Recurring Kassa DECK events sit alongside Kassa SHORT CIRCUIT and Kassa HARDTECH; its Therapy Sessions nights have included residents Savage and Fiyuu, with the second room programmed by the PÉNZ crew. The venue also has a concert hall among its multiple rooms.
