Keep Hush

Keep Hush is a London-based event promoter founded by FredCC and Freddy Masters. It started in 2016 as a blog covering streetwear, art and underground music, before moving into club events and streamed DJ sets. The founders first put on nights and recorded mixes in the basement of a Soho office, then held events at Rye Wax after leaving the office. Before establishing a London club programme, they also ran Keep Hush nights elsewhere in the UK and in the Netherlands.

Its bookings span grime, jungle, drum and bass, breaks and experimental club music. Keep Hush has held events at The Cause in London, Nickel9 Distillery in Toronto, Fitzroy in Berlin and Village Underground Lisboa in Lisbon, working with local crews in cities beyond London. Artists booked have included P Money, Flowdan, Sherelle and Fauzia. Community members have proposed line-ups, and the Secret Location series brought together parties, panels and workshops over a month at a South London venue.

Other projects include Club Turbo and Technics & Chill, alongside Greenprint, a six-part interview series with artists and other contributors including Tash LC and DJ Saint Ludo. In 2019, Keep Hush released the 100% Heat EP, featuring music by members of its community. It launched a Merch Service in 2021, offering artists merchandise production without financial risk.
