kobachi

kobachi is based in Tokyo and works in event production and sound at LIVE HAUS in Shimokitazawa. Events promoted there have featured Zusan, Oyubi, Velocity and maidable, while the GND event linked LIVE HAUS with SPREAD. A March 2024 party at LIVE HAUS featured drum and bass and ghetto tech. The irregular Super play parties there focus on booty and ghetto sounds, and the kovačroom series has included an experimental bass event at 100 BPM.

kobachi also promoted kovačLounge, a house-focused night incorporating tribal, electro and breakbeat music. Noise Communication at LIVEHAUS combined bands, DJs and rappers with food vendors and pop-up stalls, with music ranging across grunge, hip-hop, industrial, gabber, hard techno and noise. In March 2025, kobachi promoted the third Tokyo edition of mitokon’s Khanya -Light of Amapiano-. UNLIMITED, a drum and bass and dubstep night at LIVE HAUS, is another of its parties.
