Kremwerk is a queer-owned and operated nightclub, live-music venue and event promoter in Seattle’s Denny Triangle, hosting electronic shows and DJ nights. It opened in 2014 in a former creamery building as a techno venue. The original basement was excavated and redesigned by Nicole Stone and Henry Waltke, with work on the build and concept beginning in May 2013; Austin Stone joined that work and contributed to booking connections.
The venue operates in a basement space in downtown Seattle, and its wider complex includes Timbre Room, added in 2016, and Cherry, which opened in 2022. Kremwerk has presented events across the Kremwerk-Timbre Room-Cherry Complex. Each space has a stage, DJ booth and bar, with layouts adapted to different events. Cherry has an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, a chill-out area known as the Cherry Pit and a Danley sound system.
Its programming spans underground electronic music, including techno, drum and bass and soulful house, alongside alternative drag, experimental music and performance. Artists on its event line-ups have included ACHAMA, Ctrl.mp3, Heidy P and Jordana. Kremwerk also produces Kremfest, a multi-day festival featuring Seattle-area and touring electronic artists. In February 2026, the complex marked its 12th anniversary with events featuring drum and bass, techno and soulful house.
