Liquicity

Liquicity is an Amsterdam-based liquid drum and bass label and event promoter. Maris Goudzwaard began it as a YouTube channel in 2008; Goudzwaard and Maduk established a company for its events and label work in 2013. Its first small event took place at Ruigoord, near Amsterdam, in March 2013, with Hybrid Minds, Smooth and Maduk on the bill.

The promoter has used venues including Thuishaven in Amsterdam, Village Underground in London, Trix in Antwerp and halle02 in Heidelberg. Its first London events were held in 2015, and it later added shows in Cologne, Bratislava and Prague. Artists booked include Fox Stevenson, High Contrast, Koven and Makoto. Its Amsterdam programme includes the recurring Liquicity Amsterdam events and Family Day, held at Thuishaven. The first full-day festival took place in Diemen forest in 2015, followed by a full-weekend edition in Noord-Scharwoude in 2017. Family Day returned to Thuishaven in 2025, with Fox Stevenson, Maduk and Feint among its artists.
