Live Nation Belgium

Live Nation Belgium is the Belgian branch of Live Nation Entertainment. It promotes more than 150 shows each year. The Belgian operation took shape in 2001, after Live Nation acquired promoters Sound & Vision, On the Rox and Make It Happen. Herman Schueremans, founder of Rock Werchter, has led its Belgian operations since Live Nation acquired the festival. Paul Ambach became its first chief executive after selling his shares in Make It Happen to SFX in 2001.

Its events have taken place at Waagnatie Expo & Events, Lotto Arena and Sportpaleis, all in Antwerp. Since 2019, Live Nation has operated Be-At Venues concert halls, including the former Sportpaleis and Lotto Arena, without owning the properties. In April 2019, Belgian venue operator be•at was incorporated into Live Nation Venues. Event line-ups have included Chase & Status, Ahadadream, Anz and SICARIA. Live Nation Belgium owns and organises Rock Werchter, TW Classic and Werchter Boutique; its festival programme also includes Graspop Metal Meeting and Werchter Parklife.
