Macadam

Macadam is an electronic music club in Nantes, in the city’s Bas-Chantenay area. It opened in September 2017 in the former Club 25, with artistic programming entrusted to the Androgyne collective, founded by Maxime Durand, Alexis Tenaud and Romain Galiby. Androgyne has worked with the club since its opening, and directs its artistic programme. The venue has a ground floor, an upper floor and an outdoor terrace; it adjoins OHM Town, with the two spaces sometimes combined for extended events.

Its bookings centre on electronic music, with programming for emerging artists from Nantes and abroad. Ben UFO, Less-O, Soa420 and AERAE have appeared on its line-ups. Resident Maï-Linh created the CTW podcast, while resident Combe joined the club at its beginnings and helps tune its Funktion-One sound system. Macadam runs Gloria, a Sunday daytime party series, and Diva; Gloria marked its 100th edition in October 2026. The club’s code of conduct for risk prevention dates from 2017, and it was among the French venues awarded the Ministry of Culture’s Club Culture label.
