Matrix/Birmingham Techno/Anteprima

Matrix/Birmingham Techno/Anteprima is a Midlands promoter covering the spectrum of techno, from the headliner-led BT Presents nights to the grassroots Matrix parties and the deeper, hypnotic Anteprima events. Most of its nights take place at Tunnel Club in Birmingham, and a Birmingham Techno party was held at Zumhof Biergarten in July 2023.

Its bookings have included Regis, DJ Storm and Doc Scott. In 2022 it hosted Mark Broom’s 100% Juice Tour with Benjamin Damage and Paula Koski; in May 2023 Anteprima brought Italian acts Mental Modern, Luigi Tozzi and Feral, with DISTORT hosting the second room; and in April 2024 Meat Free x Matrix featured Blasha & Allatt and The Lady Machine. Its July 2025 NEIGHBOURHOOD event combined techno and drum and bass.
