Mechanix

Mechanix is a drum-and-bass and jungle promoter operating in Minnesota, with events in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area. It began in 2014; co-promoters include Jen Symmetry and Nick Merchant. Its events have featured artists from local, national and international scenes, including Sinistarr, Monrroe, Echtoo and JEEVES. Programming has ranged from liquid to techstep, with other underground sounds also included.

Mechanix has used Eagles Club #34, The Red Sea Ethiopian Restaurant and Cabooze, all in Minneapolis–St. Paul. At Eagles Club 34, it has run a monthly night on the last Friday of the month in the Mattson Ballroom, using the Void sound system. Its events have also featured sound by SubLab Sound. The promoter hosted a Seminal Sounds takeover at Eagles Club #34 in September 2023 and marked its tenth anniversary in December 2024 with an event headlined by Sinistarr. A 2025 Cabooze event featured UK drum-and-bass artist Monrroe. In July 2026, an event at The Red Sea featured Ben Soundscape and Collette Warren.
