Monarch SF

Monarch SF is an event promoter operating in San Francisco and Oakland, with events at the Monarch venue in San Francisco. Four music-industry veterans were behind the venue, which occupies the corner of 6th and Mission streets, at 101 6th Street on the edge of the SOMA district. Monarch is used for lounging, cocktails and music events.

Monarch SF has promoted house, disco, techno and club music, with bookings including Nick The Record, Prosumer and Felix Dickinson. Event line-ups have also featured Rivs and YUKA YU. Ani Klang was another name on a Monarch SF event line-up. Its recurring nights include Bump and Electric Bump, while Side Mission has brought house and disco into the Monarch Lounge. A 2013 event marked the venue’s second anniversary with Danny Daze, Slight of Hands and Shiny Objects. In 2017, Monarch hosted WERD.’s tenth-anniversary event.
