Mountain Bass Music

Mountain Bass Music is a not-for-profit music promoter and members’ club operating in Spain, Europe and the UK. Matt and Jo founded it in 2018 as a cultural association focused on liquid drum and bass. Its events have taken place at Sierra Nevada in Granada and in the Picos de Europa, as well as in Arinsal, Andorra.

The promoter’s Mountain Bass Experience is a five-day annual gathering combining outdoor activities with small-scale music performances, designed for groups of up to 100 members. The first edition took place in Arinsal in winter 2023; the 2024 trip moved to Guejar Sierra and Pradollano in Sierra Nevada, with drum and bass and jungle on the programme. Artists booked across its events include Etherwood, Monrroe, Document One and Katalyst.

In 2025, the series travelled to locations in Spain’s Picos de Europa National Park for its final edition.
