Nachtlicker

Nachtlicker is a London promoter whose parties bring together live music, performance and punk theatre. Alex Podger and Alfie Goffey launched the project in December 2023, after developing its initial concept for Australia’s Dark Mofo festival and bringing it to London. The debut attracted 300 people. Its music spans hard house, techno, speed garage, drum and bass and 1990s euro-rave, with cabaret also part of the programme. The events have included feral rave, art and DIY production.

In London, Nachtlicker has staged parties at Unit 58 and Gaffe, as well as in North London warehouses. It holds events roughly four times annually, with warehouse parties occurring irregularly during the darker part of the year. Festival appearances include Dark Mofo in Australia, Electric Picnic in Ireland and Boomtown in the UK. PJ Peek and Aerbreak have featured on line-ups. Nachtlicker is queer-run and welcomes allies.
