Outstraight Records

Outstraight Records is a Dublin operation spanning recorded music, publishing and live events. Lewis Kenny started the collective in 2015, organising events and working across spoken word, publishing, live art and panel discussions. Aaron Connery took the lead when it moved into record releases in 2020, with Kenny remaining involved. The group’s work also includes media production, and its roster covers hip-hop and electronic music.

Its events have taken place at Wigwam and The Racket Space in Dublin, with collaborations and artist residencies at Bodytonic and The Sugar Club. The music at its events has ranged across hip-hop, house, disco and drum & bass. Acts it has booked include Fliptrix, Verb T, The Four Owls and Jehst. In 2023, it organised shows around Ireland, including in Dublin and Belfast, and appeared at All Together Now. Its debut EP, Being Outstraight, arrived in February 2024, with a Dublin launch spanning a live hip-hop showcase and a club night. On 1 November 2025, Outstraight and Underdub marked their tenth anniversary with an event at Wigwam.
