Patterns

Patterns runs events at its Brighton venue in the United Kingdom. The venue opened in 2015 under Mothership Group at 10 Marine Parade, in an Art Deco building formerly occupied by Ted Potters Music Bar and the Escape Club. Its club programme spans R&B, jungle, drum and bass and techno. The ground-floor room has a hand-built DJ booth and custom Ohm PA, while the basement has an L-Acoustics system; the venue also includes a terrace.

Artists booked by Patterns have included Bicep, Four Tet, Goldie and Ben UFO. Foundations, a weekly Friday night in the basement, centres on UK music and pairs local DJs, MCs and collectives with established acts. Patterns marked its tenth anniversary in 2025 with an all-night event by Conducta. The venue also participated in Brighton’s Mutations festival in November 2022.
