Phase records

Phase records is a drum and bass label and events brand based in London. Founded by DJ and producer Gabrielle Zanot, known as Gifta, it began as Elevation, a streaming platform during the first COVID-19 lockdown, before becoming a label and event collective. O/MEGA has worked as label manager, assisting Gifta with A&R.

Its events began at The Cause, with later parties at Bricks and Planet Wax in London. The label’s music combines dark minimal, rollers and techy neuro influences, alongside an emphasis on darker, more aggressive drum and bass. Its residents are based across the UK, with some also based internationally. The debut release was the 2022 compilation Perspectives, featuring Dunk, Inertia NZ, REIDY and Gifta. In October 2022, Phase records became a paid label after operating a free-download and mix platform. In June 2025 it held a Summer Link Up at Planet Wax; in March 2026 it co-curated a Bricks event with Deeper DNB.
