Planet Turbo

Planet Turbo is a Seoul promoter whose monthly nights take place at the Itaewon clubs Cakeshop and Pistil, with events also at The Edge Seoul. Its music spans UK garage, breakbeat, jungle and drum and bass, and it is hosted by Shins and Mordecai, who also presented a Planet Turbo music programme in 2022. The related Planet Turbo Records is a South Korean jungle label.

Its nights bring together new Korean DJs, established local performers and guests from abroad, with building Seoul's underground community as a core aim. Series include All The Massive, which pairs Seoul crews with international guests, the all-vinyl Vinyl War and Illegal Beatz, and visiting artists have included DJ Q, Main Phase and Oneman. Planet Turbo celebrated its fourth anniversary in September 2025.
