Quarters is a venue at 187–193 Kings Road Arches, Brighton, BN1 1NB, beneath arches that once accommodated Zap and The Arch. Zap opened at the location in 1982, before the premises later housed The Union and Digital. Quarters opened in 2025 under A Man About A Dog (AMAAD), the team behind Junction 2 and Boundary Festival. AMAAD founders Paul Jack and Will Harold said they wanted the venue to support Brighton’s creative community. AMAAD also curates and produces events and venues across the UK and Europe.
Its programme brings together club nights, live gigs and vinyl sessions, with music ranging across house, techno, drum and bass and jungle. DJ culture is central to its events, which also include live performances and bookings from headline acts to emerging artists. The venue has a 360-degree DJ booth and a bespoke L-Acoustics A15 surround sound system. Rossi and Shy FX played sets during the opening weekend; JAY-MO and SICARIA have also appeared on event line-ups.
