Rupture

Rupture is a London club night and event promoter, founded in 2006 by Double O and Mantra. It started at Dingwalls, then held events at Anda The Bridge and Public Life before establishing a residency at Corsica Studios. Its events have also taken place at FOLD in London, The White Hotel in Manchester and The Trinity Centre in Bristol.

The music spans underground drum and bass, jungle and breakbeat, with sets drawing on jungle-era breaks and newer drum-and-bass sounds. Rupture has booked Paradox, Equinox, Forest Drive West and Dead Man’s Chest. Double O and Mantra launched the Rupture record label in 2012, with a launch event at Corsica Studios that June. At Corsica, the night has used two rooms, with the second room’s music shifting from dubstep to old-school jungle. Rupture marked ten years of parties at the venue by 2019.
