Sand and Subs

Sand and Subs is an event crew based in San Diego that stages off-grid bass-music parties around Southern California. Its gatherings take place in desert, mountain and coastal settings, and its programming covers deep house, drum & bass and dubstep. Fiesta Island in San Diego hosted Bass Oasis, a beach event promoted by the crew. The group has also presented events in San Diego and elsewhere in Southern California, including Painted Skies, a renegade bass festival.

Its events include Bass Oasis, Enchanted Dunes Music Festival and Wubs in the Woods. The crew organized Wubs in the Woods alongside Good Stuff Records and Bloom & Bloom, and partnered with Good Stuff Records and Luupy on Painted Skies. INBTWN and Bloom have appeared on Sand and Subs line-ups, while Clovd and Gumbi were among the performers at Bass Oasis.
