schron

schron is the promoter behind SCHRON, a club in a 1944 bunker in Poznań, Poland, that was once a communications shelter for the city’s railway junction. Events there began in November 2015, when Aleksandra Hromada suggested a party to the people running an escape room in the shelter, and a group of promoters and architecture fans went on to turn it into a club.

Its programme runs across techno, indie dance, house, EBM and dark disco, alongside concerts and exhibitions, and the SchronACT series presents live sets by Polish electronic producers. Bambi Uzi, Alegria, k.o (PL) and Heather Helix have played its line-ups, and schron has also co-presented events with LAB and ŚLINA.
