SCREECH

SCREECH is a Bangalore-based event promoter and bass-music collective founded in 2019 by Hunnit D, also known as Ransom David, and Hellkitty, also known as Anurag Arun. Its early work involved promoting local artists and bass-music events, followed by guest mixes and the development of a record label. The collective supports emerging artists. Its music policy spans dubstep, jungle, drum and bass, UK garage, breaks and breakbeat.

Events have taken place at Indiranagar Social and Koramangala Social in Bangalore. Alongside its founders, SCREECH has booked The Untitled One and Echoborg. In 2023, SCREECH became a record label focused on bass music in India. The label’s first release was Bass Teaser’s two-track EP, Aleatory.
