Shadow cuts

Shadow cuts promotes drum and bass events from Lisbon, Portugal, on the southern bank of the Rio Tejo. Its events have taken place at Adao - Associação de Desenvolvimento de Artes e Oficios in Barreiro and Arroz Estúdios in Lisbon, with Kyrist and Opalia among performers. A gathering at Adao in Barreiro marked the promoter’s first anniversary in May 2023. In May 2025, its third-anniversary event at the same venue featured Kyrist, with music spanning drum and bass, dubstep, jungle and rolling tech. In April 2024, Shadow cuts joined Portuguese promoters Structurally Unsound and Invasion to co-produce a drum-and-bass event at Higher Ground. DAY SHIFT, a concept presented at Arroz Estúdios in April 2026, covered UK garage, dubstep and drum and bass.
