SHOOK Crew promotes bass music in Sydney, Australia, on Eora Nation, with events built around drum and bass and dubstep. Its parties have used the Burdekin Hotel and Kings Cross Hotel, as well as Civic Underground and Factory Theatre. The venues span Sydney, with the Burdekin Hotel in Darlinghurst serving as the base for its recurring SHOOK Thursdays club night.
SHOOK Thursdays takes place monthly on the first Thursday, using the hotel’s second floor for sets by Sydney artists and visiting performers. The night has brought international acts Mushu and Howabout to bills alongside local DJs, and has featured drum and bass artist SPUK and dubstep artist WUBBLE. A 2025 edition paired SPUK with Sydney performers, while other SHOOK Crew line-ups have included Dread Maiden, Disciple, Madsync and Mak.
