SOCORE FACTORY is a live music venue in Minamihorie, Osaka. It was founded by Kasago, a former manager of the Namba ROCKETS club, and opened on June 14, 2014, then closed briefly that August for a second round of soundproofing. The venue holds 300 people, and its sound system is built around L-Acoustics equipment.
Its programme covers live bands, DJs, reggae and sound-system events and touring artists from abroad, with deep underground music at its core and events that cross into the mainstream. The same building houses the reggae bar Corner Stone Bar and the record shop Corner Stone Music on the second floor and Rehearsal Studio Ruh on the third. The opening parties in June 2014 featured Kansai artists alongside techno DJs A.MOCHI and TAKAAKI ITOH.
In 2017 SOCORE FACTORY teamed up with Sun Television’s programme Bakibaki Beat! II for Kansai New Wave, a recurring event to find new artists from the region. In July 2020 its representative Toshirō Yatagai, also the frontman of Liaroid Cinema, spoke about the venue’s experience of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the venue marked its 11th anniversary in 2025. Limited Toss, ANALOG4 and Kala Btz have played its events.
