Sooki Lounge

Sooki Lounge is a family-run live-music venue and club in Belgrave, in Melbourne’s Dandenong Ranges. Created as a live-music venue, restaurant and cocktail bar, it marked its tenth anniversary in November 2023. Suzana and Steve are part of the family team that runs it. Its three spaces are the Bandroom, Jungle Bar and outdoor Beer Garden, with events held at the Jungle Bar and elsewhere at the venue. Sooki Lounge promotes Subsonic: Bass Therapy, a night combining progressive house and bass music. Its Jungle Bar programme has covered UK garage, hard house, trance and hard bounce. Line-ups have included CHEF, Ham, Rock Bottom and PHENOMENAL. Sooki Saturdays hosted a residency by Sammy La Marca in January 2020, with Luke McD and Partyshirts Thompson also among the DJs at a 2020 event.
