Soul In Motion - Pre-NYE Drum & Bass Party
Phonox · London, United Kingdom
22:00 – 04:00
Soul In Motion Ldn is a London drum & bass club night and record label founded by DJs Bailey and Need For Mirrors in 2014. It began with fortnightly events in a basement beneath a central London hotel, where the DJ format was open and non-hierarchical. Its music spans drum & bass and jungle. In 2019, Bailey and Need For Mirrors shared rotating resident duties at the promoter’s weekly Wednesday night at Orange Yard. Their sets focus on deeper drum and bass and exclude MCs, keeping attention on the music.
Events have been held at London venues including Fabric, Phonox, The Pickle Factory and The Glove That Fits. Line-ups have featured artists such as Bryan Gee, DJ Flight, Klute and Doc Scott. Soul In Motion Records presented showcases at Orange Yard in 2021 and Planet Wax in 2024. The tenth-anniversary event took place in London on March 29, 2024.
