Sounds Like Aus is a Sydney promoter that grew out of Sounds Like, a music collective from the city’s underground scene started in 2015 and led by Phillip Burriel. Its club nights at Oxford Art Factory, Mary’s Underground and Watsons EQ cover drum and bass, jungle, techno and house, connecting local and international artists.
Metrik, T & Sugah, Circadian and Pola & Bryson have all played its events, and at Watsons EQ in Moore Park it hosted a drum and bass and jungle night marking Hospital Records’ 30th anniversary. It has also run events elsewhere in Australia and overseas.
