Statix Malta Promotions is a Maltese promoter of underground electronic music that began in 2006 as a birthday party among friends. Jon-roy founded it and runs it alone as organiser and resident DJ. Its events have taken place at Tigullio and Liquid Club in San Ġwann, covering dubstep, drum and bass, garage and techno.
International guests have included Plastician, Coki, 2562 and Phaeleh, alongside local artists such as Ilixan Iris. In 2011 Statix held a one-off festival edition that brought together more than 40 local artists from across the underground.
