Steez Promo

Steez Promo produces electronic dance music shows and festivals in Maryland and has promoted events since 2002. Evan Weinstein, who entered promotion after working in nightclubs, led the company as president and owned Steez Promo Events LLC. In Washington, DC, its events have taken place at Soundcheck, the 9:30 Club and Echostage. Its reach has included markets such as Las Vegas, Miami, Virginia Beach and Boston.

Event line-ups have featured Muzz Khan, Hedex, Pendulum and Pola & Bryson. Steez Promo promoted Starscape Festival at Fort Armistead Park in Baltimore in 2012; the festival ended after that edition. Fall Massive began as a Baltimore nightclub event and had become a large-scale Washington-area production by 2011. Steez Promo and Ultraworld presented Moonrise Festival in Baltimore in 2013, then Steez Promo co-hosted its first edition at Pimlico Race Course with Club Glow in 2014. The company produced the two-day festival at the race course, with electronic dance music, hip-hop and rap across four stages; its 2018 line-up featured 87 acts. Steez Promo also organized the Maryland Bacon Festival.
