TABA record store

TABA record store promotes events in Bulgaria, using its Sofia shop at Tsar Asen 52 as a base. Vladimir Stamenov and Martina Kazakova founded the business as an online record seller in February 2019, then opened a physical shop shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic. Both its retail operation and online shop concentrate on electronic music. In-store sessions bring record collectors, performers and electronic-music enthusiasts together to select vinyl; TABA records these gatherings and broadcasts them on YouTube.

Programming has ranged across techno, house, electronica and downtempo, alongside vinyl fairs and outdoor gatherings at Toplocentrala in Sofia. TABA Spins links a vinyl expo and listening sessions with panel conversations on vinyl culture and distribution, then presents DJs or live performers in clubs. The programme has featured Benedikt Frey, Khidja and Sound Metaphors DJs. In 2025, TABA marked six years of activity with a Sofia event spanning techno and house.
