TECHNORAMA

TECHNORAMA started its Paris club nights in 2005, holding early parties at Batofar and Rex Club. DJ Jee and Céline were residents and established Technorama Records in Paris in 2012, a label centred on French house, electro and techno. The nights later moved through Chez Moune, Showcase, 4 Elements and OPA, with events also held at Le Chinois and La Cité Fertile.

Its programming covered techno, house, electro and bass music. At a small alternative venue, early events also featured experimental music and electronica, as well as cold and industrial techno, new wave, post-punk and music linked to Andrew Weatherall. Artists appearing at TECHNORAMA included Kenny Larkin, Stacey Pullen and Rolando; Aux 88 performed live.

Technorama Records held a residency at L’International in Paris, including an event there in November 2021 and a further residency in 2023. The label’s founders, DJ Jee and Céline, hosted an event at La Rotonde Stalingrad in 2022, with bass music, electro and techno in its programme.
