The Button Factory

The Button Factory is an Auckland event promoter operating from 2 Abbey Street in the city’s CBD. It has held events at its own venue and marked its first birthday with a party on 14 June 2025. Its dance nights cover house, bass, dubstep and electronica, alongside live music and creative events. Line-ups have included Paige Julia, Brown Sugar and Dylan C. The venue also hosts parties, workshops, exhibitions, talks and community events, and provides artist studios, coworking space, a photo studio and multipurpose event hire. In 2025, The Button Factory hosted The Stage Becomes A Portal, combining performance art and immersive theatre with a bass-music line-up.
