The Faded Community

The Faded Community is a London-based electronic music events and marketing brand founded by Cat, who performs as Faded Society. It grew from Faded Society Events, which started in 2021 after a Halloween party above a pub. In April 2024, the brand relaunched as an events and marketing agency, creating performance opportunities for grassroots artists and independent promoters.

Its event programme spans electronic styles including techno, breaks, bass and acid. The promoter has staged events at London venues including Club Makossa and Four Quarters, and at XOYO and Colour Factory. Line-ups have featured DJ LIL-E, JFOX, 10:35 and By Dusk. The promoter also supports artists through workshops, marketing education and resources.

ARCHIVE and Channel Vision are among its named event projects. The Faded Presents Project gives emerging DJs and independent promoters event-planning guidance and access to venue opportunities at Club Makossa in Dalston. Since March 2024, the project has supported more than 170 events. Workshops and individual sessions cover branding, media and marketing.

Faded Society has presented radio residencies and takeovers on BMC Radio and Vandelay Radio. The Faded Community also developed Back2Back DJ Battle, a genre-blending competition with a live audience that launched in 2024.
