Born from Kara’s personal journey through the genre, The Foundation is built on deep respect for the underground and a commitment to uniting scene veterans, rising talent, and passionate fans.

More than just a label, The Foundation is a community — a space where diehard junglists, new ravers, and the simply curious can experience drum and bass. Its mission is to celebrate the past, present, and future of the genre through unforgettable events and forward-thinking releases.

The label has already delivered standout releases from Kara, including Saving featuring Kristie Killick and Set Me Free with Toby Ross, setting the tone for what’s to come. With a growing catalogue and a strong release schedule ahead, there is much more in store as The Foundation builds towards an exciting run of new music into 2026.

2025 has been a landmark year for The Foundation, with a series of successful events, takeovers, and festival appearances cementing its position in the scene. The brand has hosted sold-out shows at XOYO, Melkweg Amsterdam, Ibiza, and Volks Brighton, alongside high-energy Foundation takeovers at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Boundary, Hospitality On The Beach, and on the legendary Valve Soundsystem.
