Twisted Audio

Twisted Audio is a Melbourne event promoter that has organised parties in the city since 2010. Tey Evans launched the night in February that year, beginning with monthly events at Miss Libertine; the run there lasted almost two years. Its bookings have covered drum and bass, jungle, broken-beat and bass music, including events focused on local DJs and nights featuring international artists.

Twisted Audio has used venues including Brown Alley, The Third Day, New Guernica and QQQ ST. Park. In 2011, it became involved with All City Bass, a weekly dubstep night, and in 2014 it started the Bust A Move series with Whomp, for funk- and bass-oriented music. The first Twisted XL marked the promoter’s 15th year in November 2024, with S.P.Y, Alcemist, Formula and Burt Cope on the bill. In 2025, Twisted Audio co-promoted the Summer Series with Bassed In and collaborated with SUB:SOLAR on a Shogun Audio anniversary event.
