UMZUMZ is based in Berlin, where its events have featured drum and bass, dubstep, jungle and UK garage. It has held parties at Panda Kulturplattform and Zwille, and holds a Friday residency at PANDA platforma. The promoter brings its own DIY sub-bass sound system to PANDA platforma. Past line-ups have included ENOME, icanseesounds, Kenzura and Saint Popsy. Its Berlin activity also includes solidarity gatherings and open-air events, with collaboratively made audiovisuals and light installations.
The crew marked its first anniversary with UMZ UMZ 004 at PANDA platforma on 5 April 2025. Its Nightshift series began at Gretchen in Berlin on 11 October 2025, connecting local drum-and-bass crews and presenting bass music to a wider audience. UMZUMZ also celebrated its second anniversary in 2026.
