Unity Underground

Unity Underground is a jungle and drum and bass crew from Sheffield, founded there in 2022 by RACH and King Chuga. The founders’ connection to the scene began in the early 1990s. The crew has held events at Sidney & Matilda, FORGE and Dryad Works, all in Sheffield, featuring artists such as Dead Man’s Chest and Kid Lib.

For its second birthday in November 2025, Unity Underground staged an event at FORGE Warehouse with two arenas and RAZE Sound System; Dillinja and Sully were among the booked artists. The crew produces monthly radio programmes and DJ mixes, and its live show airs on Energy 105.8 FM on the final Sunday of each month. It recorded a guest mix at Grub Records in Sheffield for BBC Radio 6 Music’s Live from Sheffield series, which paired the mix with an interview with the crew.
