Upsessions

Upsessions is a drum and bass promoter based in Quebec City, Canada, founded by Dez.1. Since 2004, it has organized events in bars around the city and has also held events at Le Centre: Hub Créatif. Its programming spans liquid, deep, minimal and dark drum and bass, along with jungle, bass music and breaks. Old-school selections are also part of its drum and bass music policy. Events use the “Low-Frequency Vibes” name, and their line-ups have included Monrroe.

In 2024, Upsessions held a celebration for its 20th anniversary before its Halloween event. On November 1, it presented London drum and bass artist Nookie at Le Centre in Quebec City. The performance marked Nookie’s first appearance in North America in ten years.
