Valkyrie

Valkyrie is a London drum-and-bass collective and label, founded by Anny and TheLena. It began as an event brand before branching into label activity; Tom (Tangents) proposed the name, which draws on Norse mythology. The collective’s musical focus is heavy drum and bass, particularly neurofunk. Valkyrie has staged London events at Bricks, Colours Hoxton and Lightbox, featuring artists such as Audio and Pythius. Its approach puts community and support for underground artists at its centre.

Valkyrie launched with an event at Colours Hoxton on 24 May 2025, billed as a female neurofunk collective and featuring residents alongside invited artists. The label’s first release was Killbox’s Killer of Killers EP, issued on 1 May 2026; a London event marked the release later that year.
