Project West London - DAYTIMER
The Great Western · London, United Kingdom
13:00 – 22:00
West London Dub Club is a London-based promoter of sound-system events and dub sessions, with a usual base in Southall. It has held gatherings at The Tudor Rose and Chaggars Hall, as well as at Dominion Centre and Southall Community Centre. Its events have also used Crystal Club in Wembley, The Great Western in Hayes and Brook House, a Hayes football club.
The sessions bring sound systems together, and the promoter has urged more cooperation among crews and event organisers. Its events have ranged from dub and jungle to house and Punjabi music, and have featured artists including Aphrodite, DJ Brockie and Iration Steppas. Systems such as Vedic Roots and Touch Above Sound System have also appeared, alongside record labels and sound systems run by British Asians of Punjabi Sikh heritage. At a 2025 Carnival event, Crystal Club hosted separate dub and jungle rooms, with Ital Power and Word Sound & Power in the dub room.
