YASUKI is the Tokyo drum and bass DJ and producer Yasuki Morioka, who also promotes his own events at BRAND SHIBUYA. His sets centre on drum and bass, with trap and dubstep in the mix. He began DJing in Kyoto in 2006 and moved to Tokyo in 2013.
Since 2016 YASUKI has been a resident at the drum and bass night 06S, playing its main floor at WOMB in June of that year, and he has appeared regularly at parties such as FLASH, Ray-Van, WARP and ASOBINITE. In 2025 he launched the event project Sync the Bass to connect Japan’s drum and bass scene with artists abroad, holding it at BRAND SHIBUYA with line-ups including SAKO, Altemica and ATMK.
